” The Job Description”
- Collaborate with business users to understand and document their data visualization and automation requirements.
- Design and develop interactive and insightful Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
- Create and maintain data flows and datasets to ensure accurate and reliable data sources for Power BI.
- Build and automate workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes and enhance productivity.
- Perform data analysis and transformation to ensure data quality and accuracy for reporting and automation.
- Develop custom connectors, plugins, and extensions to extend the capabilities of the Power Platform.
- Collaborate with developers and IT teams to integrate Power Platform solutions with other applications and data sources.
- Provide training and support to users on how to effectively utilize Power BI and Power Automate functionalities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in the Power Platform ecosystem and recommend their adoption.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and delivery of Power Platform solutions.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Report Engagement Metrics: Measure user engagement with Power BI reports and dashboards, including views, interactions, and user feedback.
- Process Automation Efficiency: Quantify time saved and process improvements achieved through Power Automate workflows.
- Data Accuracy: Monitor and maintain data accuracy within Power BI datasets and reports.
- Custom Development Impact: Evaluate the impact of custom-developed solutions on enhancing the Power Platform’s capabilities.
- Workflow Completion Rate: Measure the successful completion of automated workflows through Power Automate.
- Data Source Integration: Track successful integration of Power Platform with various data sources and applications.
- User Training Effectiveness: Gather feedback on training programs and assess user competency in using Power BI and Power Automate.
- Innovation and Adoption: Identify the number of innovative solutions introduced and adopted within the organization.
- Issue Resolution Time: Measure the time taken to address user-reported issues related to Power Platform solutions.
- User Satisfaction: Collect user feedback to gauge satisfaction with Power Platform solutions and support services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Power BI and Power Platform development.
- Experience in designing and developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
- Proficiency in creating Power Automate workflows and automating business processes.
- Strong programming skills in languages like DAX, Power Query, and JavaScript for custom development.
- Knowledge of data integration and data transformation best practices.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges and troubleshoot issues.
