” The Job Description”

  1. ‌        Collaborate with business users to understand and document their data visualization and automation requirements.
  2.          Design and develop interactive and insightful Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
  3.         Create and maintain data flows and datasets to ensure accurate and reliable data sources for Power BI.
  4.          Build and automate workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes and enhance productivity.
  5.          Perform data analysis and transformation to ensure data quality and accuracy for reporting and automation.
  6.          Develop custom connectors, plugins, and extensions to extend the capabilities of the Power Platform.
  7.          Collaborate with developers and IT teams to integrate Power Platform solutions with other applications and data sources.
  8.          Provide training and support to users on how to effectively utilize Power BI and Power Automate functionalities.
  9.          Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in the Power Platform ecosystem and recommend their adoption.
  10.         Participate in project planning, estimation, and delivery of Power Platform solutions.
  11. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  12. Report Engagement Metrics: Measure user engagement with Power BI reports and dashboards, including views, interactions, and user feedback.
  13. Process Automation Efficiency: Quantify time saved and process improvements achieved through Power Automate workflows.
  14. Data Accuracy: Monitor and maintain data accuracy within Power BI datasets and reports.
  15. Custom Development Impact: Evaluate the impact of custom-developed solutions on enhancing the Power Platform’s capabilities.
  16. Workflow Completion Rate: Measure the successful completion of automated workflows through Power Automate.
  17. Data Source Integration: Track successful integration of Power Platform with various data sources and applications.
  18. User Training Effectiveness: Gather feedback on training programs and assess user competency in using Power BI and Power Automate.
  19. Innovation and Adoption: Identify the number of innovative solutions introduced and adopted within the organization.
  20. Issue Resolution Time: Measure the time taken to address user-reported issues related to Power Platform solutions.
  21. User Satisfaction: Collect user feedback to gauge satisfaction with Power Platform solutions and support services.

Qualifications:

  •         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  •          Relevant certifications in Power BI and Power Platform development.
  •          Experience in designing and developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
  •          Proficiency in creating Power Automate workflows and automating business processes.
  •          Strong programming skills in languages like DAX, Power Query, and JavaScript for custom development.
  •          Knowledge of data integration and data transformation best practices.
  •          Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  •          Problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges and troubleshoot issues.
