” The Job Description”
- Design and develop backend systems for client websites and platforms, including APIs, authentication, and databases.
- Implement frontend web interfaces based on Figma designs provided by the Brand & UI/UX team.
- Ensure visual and experiential consistency between the frontend implementation and the brand’s visual identity.
- Integrate third-party services and tools when needed (e.g., payments, analytics, user management).
- Ensure solid performance and basic security best practices for websites and platforms.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Lead and Brand & UI/UX Designers to understand and properly implement the intended user experience.
- Write clear and maintainable technical documentation for code and services.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience in web development as a Full Stack Engineer or Backend Engineer with strong frontend experience.
- Proficiency in one or more common backend frameworks such as Node.js/Express, Python (Django/FastAPI), Laravel, or similar.
- Experience building RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
- Good knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL).
- Hands-on experience developing frontend interfaces using frameworks such as React, Vue, or Next.js.
- Ability to work with Figma and translate designs into live, pixel-accurate (or near pixel-perfect) interfaces.
- Strong experience using Git and version control systems.
- Ability to work remotely and collaborate within a cross-functional team.
- Ability to use AI tools for generating initial code, code review, problem-solving, and improving productivity, with sufficient technical judgment to evaluate AI-generated output.
Nice to Have:
- Experience building dashboards, content management systems, or internal tools.
- Basic knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, cloud deployments).
- Interest in UI/UX and the ability to suggest technical improvements that enhance user experience.
