Nutanix Resident Engineer

” The Job Description” 

1. Design, implement, configure, and manage Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solutions.
2. Perform hands-on installation, deployment, and configuration of Nutanix clusters.
3. Manage and administer Nutanix AHV hypervisor environments.
4. Monitor and maintain Nutanix infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
5. Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
6. Manage virtual machines, storage, networking, and resource allocation.
7. Handle incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis.
8. Ensure infrastructure availability and business continuity through backup and disaster recovery solutions.
9. Work closely with telecom IT and infrastructure teams to support operational requirements.
10. Provide technical support and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
11. Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and regular status reports.
12. Ensure compliance with infrastructure security policies and operational standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and virtualization.
• Proven hands-on experience in Nutanix implementation and operations.
• Previous experience in the telecommunications sector is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Nutanix certification (NCP or equivalent) is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently at the client site as a Resident Engineer.
