Resident Engineer – Nutanix

” The Job Description”

1. Perform day-2 operations for Nutanix clusters, including administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, and integrations.
2. Deploy and configure new Nutanix clusters, including node additions and cluster expansion as infrastructure scales.
3. Plan and execute migration activities from VMware environments to Nutanix, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
4. Work closely with hardware platforms and vendor stacks, particularly Cisco and Dell.
5. Provide on-site technical support, incident resolution, and performance optimization.
6. Collaborate with customer IT teams and vendors to ensure smooth operations and compliance with best practices.
7. Prepare technical documentation and operational reports as required.

Requirements:

• Nutanix Certified Engineer (certification is mandatory).
• Proven hands-on experience in Nutanix cluster administration and operations.
• Strong experience in VMware to Nutanix migration projects.
• Good understanding of enterprise hardware infrastructure, especially Cisco and Dell.
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a resident/on-site role.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Candidates must hold a valid UAE (Emirati) residence visa.
