Network Engineer

” The Job Description”

1. To plan, design, and Implement Converged Packet network (CPN) according to Vodafone group guidelines and technology best practice.
2. Handle advanced Implementation tasks including design and Configuration.
3. Review Team configuration changes to ensure successful Implementation to network changes with minimum impact.
4. Risk assessment for CPN network changes and interact with Technology change Management to discuss in weekly CAB.
5. Interact with Decision support team to Handle CPN Business Case.
6. Review Network design ,highlight issue and Implement Fixes.
7. Handle advanced Network configuration.
8. Handle Network capacity Planning based on actual traffic trend and Services forecast.
9. Provide recommended software version for CPN Platforms.

   Requirements:
   

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant IP network Experience.
• CCNP SP and/or CCNP R/S certified is highly recommended.
• Minimum 1-2 experience in Telecom nodes and Core IP design /planning.
• Experience in deployment, implementation and configuration of network devices such as Cisco ASR9k, Nexus switches, IOS routers and switches.
