” The Job Description”
1. Technical Solution Design and Development:
a. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design technical solutions that align with business needs.
b. Develop technical specifications and architectural designs for the implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations functionalities.
c. Customize and extend the system using X++, C#, .NET, and SQL to meet specific business requirements.
2. Customization and Extension Development:
a. Develop and maintain customizations, extensions, and integrations within the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations platform.
b. Implement and enhance system functionalities using development tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
c. Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and industry standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
3. Integration and Data Management:
a. Design and implement integrations between Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and other systems, such as ERP systems, CRM systems, or third-party applications.
b. Develop data migration strategies and execute data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
4. Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting:
a. Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and resolving technical issues, and optimizing system performance.
b. Conduct performance tuning and optimization activities to ensure the system operates efficiently and meets performance expectations.
c. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure the availability, scalability, and reliability of the system.
5. Testing and Quality Assurance:
a. Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the functionality and quality of developed solutions.
b. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to identify and resolve defects.
c. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure proper testing and validation of developed solutions.
6. Technical Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
a. Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, customizations, and development processes.
b. Share technical knowledge and best practices with team members and stakeholders.
c. Provide training and support to junior developers and team members.
7. Continuous Learning and Innovation:
a. Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and advancements in the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations ecosystem.
b. Explore innovative solutions and propose improvements to enhance system functionalities and performance.
Must to Have:
8. 7+ years of Dynamics implementation, upgrade, migration, integration and deployment experience including creating custom developed solutions.
9. Experience working in Agile delivery methods and with Azure DevOps.
10. Experience with CI/CD processes in relation to Dynamics 365.
11. Credible and professional presence, good written and verbal communication skills, and the desire to work in a team environment across organization functional boundaries.
12. Experience developing solutions involving Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Power BI, and Azure.
13. Knowledge of current D365F&O including best practices with X++.
14. SQL experience.
15. Develop custom D365 application components based on user requirements when appropriate using .NET, X++, C#.
16. Create classes, table, and form extensions, extend data types and base enumerations, add functionality to model elements and source code as needed to meet business requirements.
17. Support the implementation and continuous improvement to D365 F&O and integration by using strong knowledge and experience of D365 F&O application to increase system performance.
18. Issue/Bug code resolutions.
19. Review existing and new X++ code based on performance aspects and best practices.
20. Environment code promotions and moves.
