” The Job Description”
- Strong experience with BMC TrueSight Operations Management installation,Upgrade,integration,Administration,configuration (Especially with version 10.x & later).
- Strong experience in installation of Patrol Agents on Windows,RHEL,AIX,Solaris OS.
- Experience in working on knowledge modules like DB,Websphere,Exchange,Sentry hardware,Sentry monitoring studio etc. along with basic KMs like OS,LOG,URL.
- Good to have working knowledge of custom KMs.
- Troubleshooting skills to resolve Patrol Agent, TrueSight server compoenent issues.
- Strong Experience in Event Management policy Administration,configuration.
- Experience in Design & implementation of integration solutions with 3rd party tools for event & performance management.
- Experience with TrueSight-Remedy ITSM integration, troubleshooting,enhancements.
- Working knowledge of MRLs,custom classes.
- Hands-on experience in configuring & designing reports using TSOM Smart reporting, OOTB TrueSight reports.
- Experience in Analyzing environment & event data to fine tune & reduce instance, event count.
- Ability to review,analyze,fine tune & enhance TrueSight architecture & its components as per growing infrastructure & customer requirements.
- Experience with Patrol Central,RT,Console server,PCM components.
- Knowledge of Datacenter IT Infrastructure components, Unix, Windows OS,Virtualization.
