” The Job Description”
- Administer, configure, and maintain WSO2 integration products such as WSO2 API Manager, Enterprise Integrator (ESB), Identity Server, and related components.
- Design, deploy, and manage integration solutions using WSO2 to support business processes and systems.
- Monitor system performance, manage capacity, and ensure high availability of WSO2 environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WSO2 middleware services, APIs, integrations, and security.
- Implement and manage API gateways, microservices architecture, and service-oriented architectures (SOA) using WSO2.
- Ensure the integration platform is compliant with security policies and best practices, including API security, OAuth, and other authentication protocols.
- Perform regular updates, patch management, and upgrades of WSO2 products to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Work closely with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment of integration services.
- Assist in the development of integration roadmaps and strategies for continuous improvement of the integration landscape.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide technical support and expertise to other teams regarding WSO2 products and related integration technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in integration administration or middleware administration with hands-on expertise in WSO2 technologies.
- Strong experience with WSO2 API Manager, WSO2 Enterprise Integrator, WSO2 Identity Server, and related tools.
- Experience in managing integration solutions, including APIs, microservices, and web services (REST/SOAP).
- Proficient in Linux/Unix environments for deployment and troubleshooting WSO2 products.
- Experience with API security, OAuth, JWT, SAML, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for hosting WSO2 solutions.
- Strong knowledge of networking, load balancing, clustering, and caching strategies for integration environments.
- Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes) for continuous integration and deployment of integration services.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- WSO2 certification or equivalent technical certification.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in a DevOps environment.
- Knowledge of other integration platforms and middleware technologies is a plus (e.g., MuleSoft, IBM Integration Bus).
