” The Job Description”
1- Lead HIS Product Strategy and Roadmap Execution:
- Translate the HIS product vision and roadmap into actionable, well-prioritized backlogs covering provider integrations, NPHIES compliance, clinical data exchange, and digital health member journeys.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and prioritize based on impact and feasibility.
- Maintain alignment with business and member goals.
- Maintain alignment of HIS product priorities digital strategy and member experience goals.
- Translate evolving regulatory and interoperability requirements (NPHIES, FHIR, HL7, ICD-10-AM, SNOMED CT, Saudi Billing Standard) into clear product features and delivery milestones.
2. Lead Day-to-Day Product Delivery:
- Drive sprints, backlog refinement, story writing, and feature definition with cross-functional Agile teams (engineering, integration, QA, data, and vendor partners).
- Ensure clarity on scope, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and delivery timelines for HIS integrations and digital health features.
- Resolve blockers across business, technology, and provider/vendor interfaces, escalating risks early and maintaining progress transparency.
- Coordinate UAT, provider onboarding, and go-live readiness for HIS-related releases, ensuring minimal disruption to claims and member journeys.
3. Analyze and Optimize HIS Product Performance:
• Monitor KPIs (adoption, NPS, engagement, satisfaction).
• Gather data and user insights to inform iterations.
• Propose enhancements based on analytics and user feedback.
4. Manage Stakeholder Communication and Alignment:
• Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure operational teams are prepared for launches and changes.
• Provide updates to Product Lead and key stakeholders.
5. Champion User-Centric Design and Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in discovery and usability testing.
- Advocate for customer needs in design and prioritization.
- Share learnings and best practices with peers.
Requirements:
- 5 – 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a Product Management, Business Analyst, or HIS Consultant role within healthcare, health insurance, or healthcare technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Health Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Solid working knowledge of Health Information Systems (HIS), EMR/EHR platforms, and healthcare.
- Familiarity with payer–provider workflows: eligibility, pre-authorization, claims submission and adjudication, e-prescriptions, and clinical data exchange.
- Ability to translate customer insights, regulatory requirements, and business goals into clear, actionable product requirements and user stories.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills across business, technology, clinical, and external partner audiences.
- Strong customer empathy and deep understanding of digital user journeys for both members and healthcare providers.
- Adaptable and proactive in fast-paced, ambiguous, and regulated environments.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams, including third-party HIS/EMR vendors.
