Sr. Cyber Security Engineer

” The Job Description”

1. Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. resident Engineer for 3 months experienced in implementing, configuring and maintaining QRADA SIEM.
3. At least 10 years of experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or in a similar role.
4. Strong knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls), and compliance requirements.
5. Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), endpoint protection, and encryption tools.
6. Proficiency in penetration testing, vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Metasploit), and network security technologies.
7. Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL) and secure architecture design.
8. Experience with security incident response and forensic analysis tools.
9. Relevant security certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), or CompTIA Security+.
10. Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and secure configurations.
11. Knowledge of secure coding practices and security in DevOps (DevSecOps).
12. Experience with encryption protocols (e.g., SSL/TLS, IPsec), and security tools like Splunk, Wireshark, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
13. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
14.  Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain security concepts to non-technical staff.
15. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment.
16. Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying security risks and addressing them.
17. Ability to respond calmly and effectively to security incidents and crises.
