” The Job Description”
1-Perform security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to the organization’s systems.
2- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to safeguard against potential threats.
3- Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect any suspicious activity and respond accordingly.
4- Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
5- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that security requirements are integrated into all organizational processes and applications.
6- Stay up to date on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies in the cyber security industry.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in the cyber security industry.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and best practices.
• Experience with network and security vendors such as firewalls (Fortigate, PaloAlto), F5 and Juniper switches.
• Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners.
• Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Unix.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
As a plus preferred:
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
• Experience with cloud security and containerization.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or SOC 2.
