Sr. Cloud and GCP Security Engineer

” The Job Description”

1. Design and implement secure cloud architectures using Google Cloud Security Command Center, Cloud Armor, Cloud NAT, and Cloud Firewall.
2. Configure and manage Cloud VPN for secure hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity.
3. Configure and optimize Cloud DNS security features to prevent DNS-based attacks.
4. Manage operations and make sure compliance with SLA
5. Implement & Manage Google Cloud Armor & Cloud Flare WAF to protect applications from DDoS attacks, OWASP threats, and bot abuse.
6. Configure VPC Service Controls to restrict data movement across Google Cloud services.
7. Monitor security events using Google Security Command Center, Chronicle SIEM, and Cloud Logging.
8. Investigate security incidents and automate responses using Security Operations (SecOps) and SOAR solutions.

   
   Requirements:
   

• 7+ years of experience in cloud security engineering, network security, or GCP security solutions.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud security services: Cloud Armor, Cloud Firewall, Cloud VPN, VPC Service Controls, and Cloud NAT.
• Proficiency in Google Security Command Center, Chronicle SIEM, and Cloud Logging.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and security automation.
• Experience securing Kubernetes workloads (GKE) and serverless environments (Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Functions).
• Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting for security automation.
• Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
