Sr. DevOps Architect

” The Job Description”

1.  Cultivate a DevOps environment rooted in industry best practices.
2.  Collaborate to establish a DevOps Center of Excellence, fostering a skilled and responsive team.
3.  Partner with development and product teams to refine best practices and develop automated, self-service solutions addressing identified needs.
4.  Act as a thought leader and advocate to promote adoption and build knowledge across all organizational levels.
5.  Design, implement, and manage DevOps solutions to support both hybrid on-premises and cloud deployments.
6.  Supervise technical operations and provide guidance to the development team.
7. Evaluate current standards to identify improvement opportunities.
8.  Lead initiatives to enhance process maturity.
9.  Prepare comprehensive documentation to support DevOps operations.
   10.  Assist with related projects.

   Requirements:
   

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proficiency in DevOps platforms such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Chef, Puppet, Gitlab, Github, and Docker.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform, Helm, Ansible, and Packer.
• Hypervisors: Familiarity with VMware, Nutanix, KVM, and Hyper-V.
• Cloud Architecture: Skilled in on-premises and public cloud infrastructures, including GCP, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
• Software-defined Networking: Knowledge of VPCs and VMware NSX.
• Automation and Middleware: Experience with service provisioning and middleware configuration.
• Minimum of 4 years implementing and configuring DevOps tools.
• Strong background in process workflows and usage models.
