Sr. Network Administrator

” The Job Description”

1. Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and other related devices.
2. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
3. Manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
4. Administer network services such as DNS, DHCP, IP address management, and VLANs.
5. Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for network systems.
6. Coordinate with IT support teams to resolve end-user connectivity issues.
7. Prepare and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configuration files, and operational procedures.
8. Evaluate and recommend upgrades and improvements to network systems.
9. Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and industry standards.
10. Liaise with external vendors and service providers as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
• Saudi Nationality is required.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, etc.).
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting enterprise network devices (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
• Knowledge of network security tools and practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and network performance optimization techniques.
• Preferred certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+.
