Sr. IBM API Developer

” The Job Description”

1. Minimum of 6 years of experience in IBM Integration Bus and 5 years of experience in Java technology.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in IBM API Connect.
3. Design and Develop ACE/IIB Message flows, Message definitions etc.
4. Strong knowledge of ESQL, Java Compute nodes, in IIB/ACE.
5. Excellent knowledge of SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, JSON, HTTPS.
6. Hands-on experience all phases of APIC life cycle.
7. Experience in implementing, publishing, and securing APIs using IBM API Connect.
8. Knowledge of security protocols like OAuth Experience in implementing API Lifecycle governance.
9. Gather Integration Requirements, create mapping specifications and technical specifications.
10. Perform end to end development of the Integration flow.
11. Troubleshoot issues and support the Integrations.
12. Hands-on experience in admin activities like ACE/IIB upgrade.
13. MQ experience will be added advantage.
14. Strong background working with Linux/UNIX environments.
15. Strong Shell scripting experience.
16. Working knowledge with Oracle, Microsoft SQL DB databases.
17. Passion to stay on top of the latest happenings in the tech world and an attitude to discuss and bring those into play.
18. Strong agile/scrum development experience.
19. Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams.
20. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
21. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.
