” The Job Description”
1. Under general direction, independently develops, maintains and extends a stable production, development and testing middleware infrastructure while extending the functionality and enabling developers to use it via mentoring and formal training.
2. Independently develops, modifies, and implements moderately to highly complex information systems that are thorough and accurate and conform to MST standards.
3. Translates customer requirements, recommending system solutions and formulating detailed specifications from which components are written.
Codes, tests, debugs, and documents assignments of moderate to high complexity.
4. Independently researches and resolves more complex technical problems.
5. A top-level technical contributor in one or more highly specialized phases of applications system architecture with strong technical (applications based) knowledge.
6. May serve as primary system support for two or more complex information systems based on in-depth system knowledge.
7. May serve as project manager or team lead on complex projects.
8. IBM WebSphere Application Server ( WAS/ND) Administration on RedHat/Linux.
9. WebLogic & JBoss Application Server administrationIBM MQ & Message Broker Administration on RedHat/Linux.
10. Configuration and troubleshooting of above technologies.
11. Installation, upgrades and patching of above products.
12. Experience in Performance tuning of above products.
13. Experience in the administration of IBM WebSphere Application Server, JBoss, WebLogic.
14. Experience with shell scripting.
15. Knowledge of databases preferably Oracle/SQL Server but not obligatory.
16. At least 1 years’ experience with RedHat/Linux administration.
17. TCP/IP Network familiarity.
18. Administration of IBM MQ, Message Broker.
18. Experience of IBM BPM, ODM.
19. Java (J2EE) Development knowledge would be advantages.
20. Commercial experience of Internet Technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or any related field.
- 8-10 years IT operations experience.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral.
- Must have the aptitude and the interest to work in a variety of technologies.
- Must possess the ability to craft innovative technical solutions in a challenging environment.
- Comfortable in supporting production systems any time of the day (24×7).
