Linux administrators has an active role in patching, compiling, securing, and
troubleshooting Linux servers in a heterogeneous environment rather than system
updates and server configurations. Responsible for implementing changes in multiple
environments from development, designing, implementing, to production and
monitoring the infrastructure.
1-Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a
24x7x365 uptime service
2-Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
3-Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance
exceptions.
4-Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
5-Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of
the environment
6-Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies
and deployment processes
7-knowledge of Linux: RedHat or CentOS, Debian, etc.
8-Hands on experience with MySQL, PSQL and/or MariaDB
9-Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts
10-Solid knowledge Shell, and/or Python scripting
11-Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP
12-Collaborative skills in Cross-team collaboration to work across the organization as
coach and co-worker, with many different people.
13-Highly motivated, detail oriented, flexible and willing to follow the directions given
by superior and ready to learn new things and apply the latest technologies that
would help the organization to grow.
